Today the original stone-built complex dating back to 1863, has been meticulously renovated, retaining its unique style. Archontiko Stamou is consisted of of double rooms and suites. Each room is decorated differently with distinctive colors and antiques of exquisite taste. Guests can have dinner in the restaurant or enjoy a drink in the Anamella bar. The nearby Public Library holds a collection of priceless books and manuscripts donated by Zagora's benefactors. The Hellenic Museum is also available to visitors. Located between mountains and sea in Zagora, the Archontiko Stamou offers a mix of both to its guests. The Pilio Ski resort is within driving distance from the Archontiko Stamou. For the summer, the sea is only 3.7 mi away at the beautiful beach of Chorefto.
