Hotel Details

Cozy pueblo fireplaces, a popular bar and restaurant and adobe decor make the Historic Taos Inn a popular area pick with our guests; this isn't a cookie cutter hotel. With a cluster of 1880s adobe houses and a plaza fountain, this charming inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Each of the inn's 44 rooms is furnished in Mission antiques; most include a pueblo-style fireplace. A popular on-site restaurant serves three meals a day while the bar offers a jovial atmosphere and live music nightly. Breakfast is not included. Wi-Fi keeps you plugged in while you're on the road. Note: Front desk hours vary. Guests planning to arrive before or after the designated check-in time must contact the property prior to arrival for special instructions. Guests can contact the property using the number on the reservations confirmation received after booking. Located on Highway 68, the Historic Taos Inn is nestled in the heart of town, two blocks from the Taos Art Museum. You're adjacent to Kit Carson State Park, or head 15 minutes for a scenic drive over the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Check out the Impressionist paintings at Millicent Rogers Museum, ten minutes north, or take in a history lesson at Taos Pueblo, a World Heritage Site that's 15 minutes away. Taos Regional Airport is eight miles away, and Santa Fe Municipal Airport is 80 miles south. The Historic Taos Inn's delicious on-site dining, quaint furnishings and primo downtown location, plus a hopping bar and "friendly" staff are "true Taos vintage," say our guests.
