Hotel Details

Historic and homey ambiance, free Wi-Fi and close proximity to Cape Cod Bay beaches are key attractions at the non-smoking Pepper House Inn. The former home of sea captain Bangs Pepper, this 18th-century, Federal-style colonial is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The inn's four rooms and one suite are individually decorated, and include mahogany or cherry furnishings, four-poster or canopied beds, fireplaces, wide-board flooring, cable TV and en suite bathrooms. A complimentary full breakfast with hot items is served on the screened porch or, come summer, under market umbrellas on the deck. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Note: Front desk hours vary. Guests planning to arrive before or after the designated check-in time must contact the property prior to arrival for special instructions. Guests can contact the property using the number on the reservations confirmation received after booking. The inn is located in historic Brewster, which meanders along tree-lined Route 6A — also known as Cape Cod's "Antiques Row." The gentle surf of Cape Cod Bay is within a mile; plan your visit for low tide and you can walk for miles on the flats. The big waves of Nauset Beach are a 15-minute drive away. Nickerson State Park is a straight shot two miles down Route 6A, and features 1,900 wooded acres and a freshwater pond for swimming. Chatham Lighthouse is 12 miles away. Logan International Airport in Boston is 88 miles away. Four-poster beds and fireplaces, a hot and hearty breakfast and access to miles of beach create a memorable New England experience at the Pepper House Inn in Brewster.
