The Penguin Hotel, is a shining example of 1940's Late Art Deco style, situated directly on Ocean Drive and 14th street, the “quiet side” of Miami Beach, directly across from the beautiful South Beach and only a few steps away from Lincoln Road Mall, popular restaurants and night clubs.
The property was tastefully renovated in 2006 by a French Designer. This hip hotel boasts 43 nonsmoking guest rooms, each individually appointed with one wall entirely covered with a canvas portraying flowers or other natural elements. Oceanfront and Ocean Corner rooms in The Penguin Hotel feature panoramic strip windows with breathtaking ocean views, as well as panoramic views of South Beach and plenty of light and sunshine. There are fully renovated bathrooms and new hardwood floors in all rooms.
The Penguin Hotel rooms include; wet bars with marble countertops, sinks, compact refrigerators, plasma-screen TVs, cable TV, safe box, and Czechoslovakian crystal chandeliers.
We are serving our Continental Breakfast (included in the Resort Fee) at Purple Penguin Cafe for Penguin Hotel guests only. The Purple Penguin Café, serves American and International cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The perfect location overlooking Ocean Drive where you can people-watch while savoring the most amazing dishes and drinks for the most affordable prices in the South Beach area. Room service is available.
Please Note: There is a Resort Fee of $19.00 + tax ($21.66 total) per room, per night, based on double occupancy, to be collected upon check in. The Resort Fee includes: Continental Breakfast for 2 from 7:30AM to 10:30AM, welcome drink coupons for 2 (that can be used from 5PM to 7PM), beach towels, Wi-Fi, the use of the in-room safe box, and 2 bottles of water in the room for guests to enjoy. For the third and fourth guests staying in the room, the hotel will charge a $10.83 Resort Fee per extra guest.
Valet parking is $35.00 USD + tax, per day, per car, to be collected at the hotel.
Cancellation Policy: There is a one night penalty if cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival, one night room and tax if cancelled within 30 days of arrival.
1) Credit card is the preferred form of payment. As a reminder, accepted credit cards are Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
2) Daily incidentals' deposit will amount to $100 USD, per room per day with a maximum amount of $250 USD for a 3-day stay or longer; payable either on credit card or cash. Cash payment must be made in US Dollars.
3) Cash paying guests will be required to present pictured ID upon payment. Accepted forms of identification are: passport, ID or driver's license.
