Hotel Details

Although it offers iPod docks, free breakfast and other modern amenities, plus a non-smoking atmosphere, the Peery Hotel harkens back to a bygone era with its grand public spaces and elegant rooms. The minute you walk into the spacious lobby with its handsome hearth and glittering chandelier, you know the Peery Hotel is something out of the ordinary. You'll feel welcomed with a cup of herbal tea or coffee as you settle into the plush furnishings. The century-old building retains many of its original architectural details over three floors. All 73 non-smoking rooms offer extra-thick mattresses that are triple-sheeted with crisp linens. The decor is stately, with nice details like canopy beds in many rooms, but the amenities, including iPod docks, are all up to date. Bathrooms have elegant pedestal sinks and are stocked with high-end health and beauty products. There's a well-equipped fitness room on the premises, and in-room spa services are available. There are two restaurants in the hotel, and a free breakfast is served each morning. Parking is available for a fee. The hotel is in Salt Lake City's theater district, the heart of the action, and one block from the Salt Palace Convention Center. Within about five blocks of the hotel are sights like Historic Temple Square, the Family History Library and Energy Solutions Arena. Salt Lake City International Airport is seven miles northwest.
