Hotel Details

Outdoors enthusiasts head to the majestic Four Seasons Resort Whistler throughout the year for everything from skiing to golf. In between there's a relaxing spa, outdoor pool and hot tubs and one of the area's best restaurants. A mecca for skiers and snowboarders, the Four Seasons provides wintertime guests with direct lift access, equipment transfers and a dedicated ski concierge who makes all the arrangements. The place is just as popular in summer, with activities ranging from golf to hiking to horseback riding. A timber, glass and stone lobby leads to the 273 luxurious rooms and suites, which are warmed by gas fireplaces and have lots of beautifully finished woodwork. Many have balconies where you can take in the mountain views. Plasma TVs with cable channels are a nod to the modern world, as are CD and DVD players and wired and wireless internet access. Non-smoking rooms are available. One of Canada's top-rated retreats, the spa has 11 private rooms, as well as two for couples, where you can indulge in treatments using local ingredients, like an exfoliation with peppermint, maple and honey. A eucalyptus steam room, glacier rain showers and three outdoor hot tubs add to the feeling of relaxation. In the courtyard, the freeform pool is heated all year so you can enjoy a dip no matter the season. Pilates instruction is available at the gym, which also has aerobics and spin classes and a wide range of cardio machines. With an open fireplace providing a backdrop, the steakhouse specializes in meats off the grill, while the lounge's clubby atmosphere is perfect for an après-ski nosh. In-room dining is another possibility. Pets are welcome. Valet parking is available. If you're here for the downhill action, the Four Seasons puts you a short walk from the lifts at Blackcomb Mountain or an easy shuttle ride from Whistler Mountain. In summer there are three championship golf courses nearby. Within walking distance in warm weather is the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre, which reveals much about the area's indigenous peoples. Whistler Village, with its boutiques, eateries and art galleries, is less than a kilometer away. The closest airport is Vancouver International Airport, a 136-kilometer drive south. our guests say the location is hard to beat at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, set in the mountains near winter and summer fun. Luxurious rooms have stunning views, as do the restaurant, lounge and other top-notch amenities.
