The Keating Hotel 4.0 Stars

San Diego's first true luxury boutique hotel that transformed the Gaslamp District from bland to chic. The Keating building dates back to 1890, and still has most of the original accents (brick work, windows, etc.). In order to maintain the integrity of the original building, the Keating Hotel charges a $3/ night historic preservation fee.

• The MerK Bistro: our restaurant has moved away completely the Italian theme becoming an American history offering a much wider menu selection, including our new late night happy hour Thursday-Saturday nights. All hotel guests receive 10% F&B purchases

• Breakfast: we are no longer offering the complimentary to-go breakfast, simply because our to-go breakfast no longer exist. Instead we are offering all rooms a $10 voucher towards our new breakfast menu from the MerK Bistro, on Saturday and Sunday our brunch menu options are also available. I have attached the entire new room service menu to this email.

• Privacy Sheer: due to feed back we have received continually from our guests, we have added intimate piracy shears to a number of our stanzas. These curtains separate the warm and wet zones (bed & bath rooms) adding a partition for guests; these are available upon request and based on availability. Please see attached photos of a twin bed deluxe stanza with privacy shear.

• WiFi access: internet access is available for a fee of $7.99/night.
