Established in 1866 and renovated in June 2019, New Orleans Hotel is an original country pub offering accommodations in the historical Arrowtown. It features an on-site restaurant and bar, open 7 days a week. Free public parking is available. The property includes a large open fire in the winter and a sun-drenched, north facing balcony in the summer, so you can enjoy a meal, a local beer or an Otago wine with friends and family. The restaurant serves classic New Zealand pub food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, using seasonal and local ingredients where possible. All rooms are directly across the road from the Arrow river, which features a magical walking track lined with trees. Directly behind the river you look right out towards the mountains. Our Arrow River Rooms rooms have windows looking out to this direction. To this day you can still find gold in this river!
