All Kachina Lodge Rooms are non-smoking. The lodge is located along the rim of the Grand Canyon, and these rooms offer partial canyon views. It is within walking distance of the El Tovar Hotel, which is the check-in location for Kachina guests. These rooms are located on either floor of the 2-story Kachina Lodge, and all rooms may require some stair climbing. The rooms feature 2 queen size beds, full bath, TV, refrigerator, clock radio, safe, iron, ironing board, telephone, hair dryer, and evaporative cooling. Each room sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. Maximum occupancy may be exceeded by an infant in a crib. Contact Central Reservations at 888-297-2757 or 303-297-2757 if you will have an infant in your party. There is no charge for the use of the Pack n Play. Rollaway beds are not permitted in these rooms. No pets or cooking allowed in the room.

Built in the late 1960s, Kachina Lodge sits directly on the rim of Grand Canyon. For guests seeking a more contemporary lodging option, Kachina lodge is a great choice. The guest rooms have a comfortable modern ambiance and are all similar in size and amenities. The lodge rooms are designated canyon-side and street-side related to the view. Many guests choose Kachina due to its prominent location in the center of the historic district. Kachina Lodge is also walking distance to restaurants, gifts shops, Kolb Studio, Verkamp’s Visitor Center, and Bright Angel Trail Head. It’s a great choice for active guests as it is located directly on the Rim Trail. This trail spans from Hermits Rest to the Kaibab Trailhead, approximately 12.8 miles. From your room you can hike in either direction, and the views along this trail are exceptional.
