Individual villas right on the beach and a gorgeous beachfront pool and restaurant keep guests coming back to Cerritos Surf Colony, just north of Cabo. The Cerritos Surf Colony consists of 24 traditional thatched roof villas with layouts of one to four bedrooms. All non-smoking villas feature Mexican-inspired decor with ocean views, and some boast kitchenettes and lofts. Guests can connect to Wi-Fi in the public spaces of the resort or completely unplug on a cushioned lounger next to the pool. The resort has a bar and a restaurant, which also offers room service. Pets are allowed for an extra fee, and parking is free. Right on Cerritos Beach on Baja's western coast, the Cerritos Surf Colony is 45 minutes north of the tourist destination of Cabo San Lucas. There are a couple of other resorts with restaurants nearby on the beach, and guests can find groceries and fruit stands 10 minutes away in El Pescadero. Besides the gorgeous beach, outdoor adventures include the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, an hour south, and Tortugueros Las Playitas Sea Turtle Conservation Project, a half-hour north. Other interesting spots include Arte de Origen, zip lining and plenty of restaurants and shops in Cabo San Lucas. Cabo San Lucas International Airport is 40 miles away.
