The castle is located over 3 floors and overlooks Edwardian gardens, the golf course and the River Bovey. Some bedrooms have views, and all have facilities for making tea and coffee and a TV. There are two restaurant choices for dining, The Great Western Grill, with à la carte menu, offering traditional favorites, meats, grills, steaks, house specials, fish and shellfish. Dishes range from dressed Brixham crab salad to red wine braised oxtail cottage pie, and poached native lobster with truffle macaroni cheese. Also the Smith’s Brasserie offers dishes inspired from the Mediterranean, with countryside views and a fire pit. Bovey Castle also offers a choice of breakfast and afternoon tea.
