Hotel Description

The Belmont Hotel, a beautiful 1940's courtyard hotel perched hilltop in the emerging Oak Cliff district, offers panoramic views of downtown Dallas, the Trinity River Corridor and future signature Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge designed by world-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava.

Originally built in 1946 and designed by architect Charles Stevens Dilbeck, the former motor hotel was restored to its former glory in 2005. The mid-century property reflects the architect's original vision through preservation, yet blends minimalist modern furnishings with rich bohemian accents for a timeless décor.

Located two miles from the Bishop Arts District, the 64-room urban resort is comprised of four distinctive buildings with rooms that offer tranquil garden or distinctive Dallas skyline views.

The Moderne Building: The main building includes the lobby, BarBelmont and terrace along with standard rooms, second floor hospitality suite and first floor conference room.

Bungalows: The bungalows surround a lush walking garden with certain rooms overlooking the chef's garden.
